Why is Ascendance of a Bookworm good?

This series has quickly become a favorite series of mine, and I would recommend it for anyone. It has a great amount of humor, touching scenes, character development, and just plain fun watching Myne/Rozemyne achieve her dream of becoming a librarian. Fantastic, turned me into a bookworm.
